Mercenary Wars
The Mercenary Wars campaign starts late in the Third Succession War on various planets in the Rim World region along the Periphery. The war pits desperate factions against each other and embroils rivalries in a massive conflict. Each kingdom fears to use their most precious assets – battlemechs – and instead hires mercenaries to fight their wars.
Iron Games
Solaris VII is not the only world in which battlemech tournaments are played. Other planets in the Inner Sphere saw the economic prospects of hosting similar games. One such planet is Minderoo of the Federated Commonwealth. On Minderoo, novice and veteran MechWarriors come to try their hand at fame and fortune – or go down in flames forgotten and penniless.
